The City is in the midst of rewriting its General Plan, which is the blueprint for development and conservation for Walnut Creek. The existing General Plan was adopted in 1989. A new General Plan that will point the way for the community through 2025 is expected to be completed in 2006. This General Plan will affect everyone who lives in and around Walnut Creek including the residents of Almond Shuey.
